The Gift of Healing Myself

It’s amazing to think about what we as humans are able to do. In the current times, I’m noticing more and more humans awaken to who they are and their own powers. Those of us who knew are beginning to speak out more and being called crazy a lot less. We’re beginning to be called upon by those who are waking up. Healing, true healing with the Goddess’s medicine, is becoming more and more common as our current systems that have proven to be failures fall apart. It’s a beautiful thing and a power we all have been gifted.

I got a reminder of what we’re able to do when I kicked a rock and really messed my foot up. The Hubs so thoughtfully suggested I stopped kicking rocks. He’s awfully lucky he didn’t endure the next rock injury! I wasn’t kicking rocks directly, I was kicking the ball for Sabian, our beautiful lab mix. She’s playful, very playful, I mean pain in my ass playful at times. She’s right there with every farm project, throwing her toy at me. I love her, she’s my protector and such a sweet girl…unless she doesn’t know you. That’s an entirely different issue. I was walking along our path form our home to the garden and kicking the ball as Sabian brought it back to me. I did not notice she set it by a rock…we have very rocky soil here. There are rocks everywhere. This rock was mostly buried in the soil, sticking out just enough for an injury to occur. I kicked the rock while attempting to kick the ball. I hit the foot right underneath the toes, it felt as if I jammed all the bones back into my ankle. It hurt, but wasn’t too painful so I let out some not so lady-like words and went on with my day. I spent the next few hours running around doing farm chores. I honestly didn’t think it was all that bad, it wasn’t feeling bad…yet.

After I finally settled down and took my shoes off, I was a bit taken back by what I felt and saw. I’m assuming the tied shoe was enough of a wrap to keep the foot from really bothering me. After I took it off, it hurt and I mean bad. It was swollen to almost twice the size of the other foot, it just looked awful. How the hell did all that fit in my shoe? I was pretty sure I couldn’t get the foot back in my shoe if I wanted to. I realized I did more damage than I thought and went into self care emergency mode right away.

At this point it just hurts to stand or put any weight and pressure on it. I tried. I ended crawling on my hands and knees while keeping my foot in the air. I then crawled over to the dresser and grabbed blood support capsules, the same ones I sell in Love of Lotus Apothecary. Blood capsules aren’t my first go to for something like this however, I have everything else packed away right now and no patience to go looking for it. I’m in pain and my food looks like a pillow. I take the blood capsules myself so my personal stash available. Many of the herbs in the blend for the blood capsules are anti-inflammatory and anodynes. I took a few capsules and elevated my foot for the next few painful hours.

The capsules did help with the pain and inflammation, while at rest. They didn’t do much for comfortable use of my foot. I’m building a new a new farm from the ground up and I have drums to play. I have no time for this nonsense. Before I went to sleep I did energy healing on myself. I am a healer however, I’ve only done energy healing on myself and I haven’t been trained. I haven’t used it often so I wouldn’t consider myself all that experienced with it. I do get nice results when I do use it.

I grounded into the earth and drew down the energy of the moon. I surrounded myself with both energies and combined the healing energies of Mother Gaia and Mother Moon. I gathered the energy into a ball and held it for while focusing my intention into it. I gave thanks for the healing and focused on my foot being well again. I then, with strong intention and concentration, put that energy into my foot. I felt it penetrate my aura and then my foot. The sensations I felt as the energy entered and began to heal my food are hard to explain and felt as if the healing was coming from outside of myself, as if from another entity.

After doing this, I gave thanks, said my final words and released the energy into the universe. I came our of trance and my foot felt the same. I went to sleep with the foot elevated with an inner knowing that the healing was already done. I focused on the desired result as I drifted off to sleep. I slept well, the pain surprisingly didn’t bother me at all. When I woke the next morning, I had a barley noticeable bruise and no pain, not even a little. I’m walking just fine. The Hubs and I went for nice walk in a nature trail and I went right back my normal running around just like nothing ever happen.

We humans are so powerful, most of us are indoctrinated and programmed away from our abilities, some so much that they laugh at the possibility of having them. What we’re gifted with is what those with the illusion of power fear. It’s really amazing when a human comes into their power, we are truly unlimited. I’m only learning of my power and abilities. I know there’s so much more I can do, I just haven’t discovered it yet. Healing my foot is a good start.

It’s been a few days and my foot is still as good as new. It’s a good thing as I’m preparing to finally get my butt back on stage. I can’t play rock star with a bum high hat/slave petal foot. I’ve been all over this land working on the farm. All I can say is Thank you, embrace my gifts and help others where I can. I’m deeply grateful for the Goddess’s medicine.

Have you discovered abilities you have? Do you use your abilities for every day, mundane life? Share your experiences below, I’d love to hear about them!

Happy Awakening!

Hi, I'm Rainie. I'm the owner and founder of Love of Lotus Apothecary, a healer and herbalist with a passion for Gaia and all she has to offer. We offer natural and sustainable handmade apothecary and plant medicine products. We recently moved onto our new land where we are creating a clean, sustainable herb and vegetable farm. Over time we are changing 90% of our herbs to herbs grown on our farm. We're also growing all we can for our local community, we all need each other. As we harvest we will be sure to adjust our ads so you know which were grown by us. All our herbs, fruits and vegetables, regardless of who grows them, are organic, non-GMO and sourced as locally as possible.

Let's all share what we know, research what we hear and treat each other with love and respect.
